Now is the time for your Environmental Check-up

Mismanaging environmental issues has the potential not only to harm the environment but also to negatively impact your company's reputation, jeopardize relationships with clients, and create legal liabilities. TRI has developed a procedure for assessing your company's existing and historical operations in order to determine:

  • how well your company's current environment practices are meeting today's regulatory obligations
  • where your company may be potentially responsible for past environmental practices

Based on this assessment, TRI and its experienced environmental professionals can help your company develop an action plan that improves current environmental performance and begins to address those past issues that have the potential to create significant liabilities for your company. Call us today for a free half-hour consultation.

Biogeoclimatic Mapping Services

If your operation has the potential of impacting a large geographic area, consider developing an annotated biogeoclimatic map that can be used to educate your employees and form the basis of your environmental management plan. One of TRI's biogeoclimatic maps is shown here. Numbers on the map refer to specific ecologically sensitive areas such as:

  • Known Kokanee spawning area.
  • Creek used as domestic water supply by local residents.
  • Road borders municipal water system reservoir and traverses the watershed area above the reservoir.
  • Area is frequented by numerous species of wildlife including beaver, fish, amphibians, and waterfowl and is also a regional centre for recreational activities.
